THis cake was ordered from a very cool bride and groom as a WEDDING CAKE!!! I actually went into NYC too to get authentic Krispy Kreme Donuts to put on the cake. The bottom is all cake in fondant and the box is all gumpaste with some icing sheets and painting by hand as well. Use of dremel tooling as well – rpyal icing was a must, but it has to be the consistency of cement, lol. Carefully constructed with gumpaste brackets and stands – very hard cake to do!!!!!! Amazing cake! I had to look at it over and over again cause at first I thought it was just a regular KK box. Amazing work!
