We had a little challenge going on in a Swedish cake related Facebook group. We wanted to make “midsommar” flowers and started with daisies. During the making of these flowers I thought of the time in the Netherlands when I was little.

We went to a Shakespeare play “A midsommars night dream” with school. And that was such a magical play and it was such a wonderful experience for me (I think I was about 9). So I thought I’d use the daisies and create a Midsummer nights cake.

It made me feel really happy creating this one. Hope it brings you some happiness as well :-)
