The theme for my son’s 2nd birthday was ‘balloons’ – he just adores playing with them!
Afte many sketches, I decided upon a design that just ‘sold’ the concept of balloons. A giant balloon made of fondant, with a sky and cloud background as scenery.
To finish my design I used the balloon ‘tie’ to create a number ‘2’ to represent the age of the birthday boy – I was thrilled!
The bottom tier is triple layered caramel mud cake, and the top tier is triple layered white chocolate mud cake.
