Part of a series of 5 cakes for a surprise 50th birthday. Mansion cake replicates the clients home. There are two cake flavors, chocolate with peanut butter ganache and peanutbutter with chocolate ganache. 90% of the cake is edible with the exception of the small wing on the left. It took a total of 2 full days to bake and fill and decorating from 7 am until 5 am the next morning non stop. The cake took 3 people to carry out of the store and was too long to fit into our commercial refrigerator doors so we had to empty our home refrigerator out.

Probably our most mentally challenging cake, but we love it regardless.

Anna it was 30 inches long it literally just made it into the refrigerator with all of the shelves out. Our commercial refrigerator is huge but it has a bar in the middle so that was completely out of the question!

Callie it was totally worth it!
