I was trying to come up with Winnie the Pooh designs for my cousin’s baby shower when Brenda over at Sugar High Inc posted her amazingly creative balloon cake. I just knew I had to combine the two ideas! This cake stood over 2’ high and made a lovely centerpiece. The cake is a 3 tier (4", 6", 10") funfetti and chocolate cake covered in fondant balloons with hand sculpted Winnie the Pooh and Piglet figures. I approached this cake a little differently than Brenda did and took several pictures along the way. I have them posted on my facebook page.

I also created 4" Winnie the Pooh sugar cookie party favours for the guests to take home as a thank you for attending the shower.

Thanks Benni! I feel like it is telling a story as apposed to being just a cake. Love that.
