This is a first birthday party with a monkey theme. I made a 1/2 sheet cake and a shaped monkey pan. colors are blue, green, yellow and browns for the monkey. I also made a 6-inch round one-layer smash cake. *I used to use the start tips to fill in the shaped flat cakes like this, but I have switched to mainly a straight tip, as I seem to like that look now. I outlines monkey in #4 dark brown, and filled in with #10. I frosted light tan and white areas smooth with a small angled spatula and some with my finger dipped in warm h20. *I hope u enjoy the little fella! ;)
