We made this special cake to donate to the local fire station to thank them for their services. The 30×20 back drop was hand painted and then we added fondant pieces to give it the 3d effect. The Christmas tree cake had 97 mini cake balls attached to it, blinking lights, fondant ornaments, presents, and sang Rocking around the Christmas tree when you pushed one of the gifts. We used modeling chocolate to make the fireman boots, fire house dog and teddy bear. The picture over the mantle is the fire house logo and of course no cake is complete with Santa enjoying his cookies and coco. He was also made out of modeling chocolate and the table from rice krispie. We added Chocolate dipped marshmallows along the board also.
