Standing Ice block / popsicle cake - Free tutorial coming

A little story: I have a scar on my cheekbone, just below my right eye as a testament to how much I love Popsicles. I was a naughty five year old and just as the sun peeked over the horizon, I tiptoed to the kitchen to help myself to an ice block. It was one of those combo fridges, and I was a bit too little to open the top freezer by myself. So I pulled, and I pulled on the handle until the glass fruitbowl that lived on top, fell and smashed squarely on my face as I looked up. I was more afraid of my mom finding out I was sneaking Popsicles while she slept, than the showering of glass and carnage all over the kitchen floor. And that wee little scar reminds me to always use a chair. Teeheee.

I still love ice lollies.

This cake portion of this little sweetie measures 9″ × 14″ tall and balances perfectly on a 6" lolly stick. I had a lot of fun making this and it makes me look forward to our New Zealand summer.
