This is the piece I presented to CI Birmingham. After 1750Km it was very damaged. I worked on it all night but it wasn´t enough. When I presented it to the competition it had literally bent double by nearly 20cm. I felt quite sad, tired and worried because after hours of work I wasn´t going to win anything……
Fortunately for me the jury appreciated the foreshortening, the stance, the pattern the scales made and overall the scene I wanted to show and they awarded me a gold. I was absolutely over the moon!!!
Next year I´ll be more careful with the skelleton to avoid future problems.
