Sugar Beaded Sugar Skull

My contribution to the Sugar Skull Bakers 2015 collaboration celebrating Dia de las Muertos.
I wanted to go a bit more modern and a little less literal in my interpretation of this festive Mexican holiday tradition.
I made hundreds of sugar beads by hand and placed them on the sculpted modeling chocolate face to create a mosaic of beads in the traditional motifs usually painted on celebrants faces.
