Lisa and James chose a 3 tier wedding cake for their special day. The bottom tier is a traditional brandy and sherry laced fruitcake covered in marzipan and ivory sugar paste, the tier was embossed with hundreds of individually cut flowers with royal iced piped centres.
The middle tier is vanilla sponge with vanilla buttercream. This tier was covered with white chocolate ganache and then ivory sugarpaste. Pale pink ribbon is the only decoration on this tier.
The top tier is a vanilla sponge with strawberry buttercream. This tier is decorated the same as the bottom tier. Lisa was going to add a fresh flower arrangement on the top.
