Patriot: Red white & Blue

I was participating at a democratic meeting and was asked to make a cake. Since it was right around 4th of July, I decided to do a little representation of the flag. It’s my second two tier cake ever. Turned out way better than the first one. This cake is made of chocolate and vanilla buttercream covered with fondant. This cake gave me a hard time to finish (maybe because it was 5 Am, was up for over 16 hours and I was tired, lol). It just wasn’t cooperating with me. I had to tweak the original idea I had to end up with this.
