I was honoured to be asked to make my brothers wedding cake but very nervous for a few reasons, firstly I have never done a wedding cake haha, 2nd, never made roses, and 3rd, I live in Scotland now and he lives 6hrs away, so I youtubed how to make sugar flowers so that was sorted, made 3 different kinds of sponges and fillings to suit them, and travelled with everything in separate boxes (roses in box on my lap, flower foam is brilliant ) and spent 3hrs of th wedding day morning building it up… I am so proud of myself and now wedding cake orders are flying in, my brother and sister were over the moon and I am privileged to have a part in their special day xx hope u all like it x
