This was a fun cake to make! The client was throwing an appetizer soiree and needed a cake to blend in with the other foods on the table so her guests wouldn’t know it was the dessert. The party went off without a hitch and the guests couldn’t believe it was their dessert! The cake was a vanilla bean with a fresh orange buttercream. The best part was making all the ingredients that go on a sub sandwich. All the ingredients were made with our homemade fondant including the Doritos! On the sandwich is: turkey, red-leaf lettuce, tomato, red onion, Swiss cheese, banana peppers, olives and of course mayonnaise and mustard also topped with handmade green olives.
