I’ve not made a cake for awhile and wasn’t going to bother with one for my birthday as we aren’t doing anything special …… until my hubby offered to go to Asda/Tesco to buy me a cake lol . my family isn’t a huge fan of fondant but i wanted pretty cake so skipped on the fondant covering . Think the dark background makes the flowers stand out a little more .
