This is a double layer fruit cake in marzipan and fondant with hand made peoney and roses. I used moulds for the small blossoms and an imprinted roller for the side banding. It is to be auctioned off for a charity in Worcester (UK) that makes washable sanitary towels for women in undeveloped areas around the world so that girls can go to school more than 3 weeks out of 4 and that women can participate in work and society ALL month! It is such a fantastic project and pretty much a 1 woman show at the moment but I’m hoping it grows!
