It’s my daughter’s 9th birthday today. She decided that rather than having a party she wanted to go to Build-a-Bear Workshop with a friend so that’s what we have done and enjoyed the sun in Brighton too. But as she wasn’t having a party I didn’t see the point of doing too big a cake but I do like to make my children’s cakes a bit special so we decided on a 3 tier – 4", 6" and 8" with only the 6" being cake. When I asked her what she would like for her cake she said animal prints. In the end we decided that I would base the cake on one of her favourite dresses. The leopard print tiers with flowers are hand painted and the middle tier is airbrushed. She loves it x
