This is my Gallery of Exotic Butterflies I made for the Old Curiosity Shoppe Collaboration. Each butterfly is hand-painted (not printed) on wafer paper. Most of these butterflies are real species, painted and sized to the actual size of the real butterfly. Then I threw in a few more “artistic” butterflies just for added curiosity. The replica paintings are miniature and range from approximately 1.5″×2″ to 3″×3.5″. There are two Mona Lisa’s — one painted on a sugar sheet (which you can see cracked, if you look closely) and is about 1″×1.5″ and one on wafer paper that is closer to 3.5". The glasswing butterfly is hand painted gelatin. Enjoy!
