Say “HI” to Robbie…!

He is now a permanent resident in my home hahaha! My fave part are his confetti shoes which has the violet to complete the colours of the RAINBOW.

I was SO flattered and delighted when Lisa of Sweet Disposition Cakes asked me to be involved in a magazine collaboration to recreate some iconic cake designs from one of the MOST popular cake books of the 80’s (ME!?!?). Lisa is one of my long-time idols so of course I jumped and said (shouted) YES!

I was even MORE honoured when I saw who else was included in the collaboration – Jacki of Blissfully Sweet, Mignon of Call Me Cake Face, Faye of Faye Cahill Cake Design, Vanessa of Inspired by Cake, Debbie of Debbie does cakes, Alisha of Sweet Bakes, Rouvelee of Rouvelee’s Creations, Trina of Sweet Ruby Cakes and Jacinta of Kidacity (eeeeep!?!?)

We each recreated cake designs from the Australian Women’s Weekly Children’s Birthday Cake Book and were given a choice from two designs. I decided on Robert the Robot…and I’m glad I did as he was SO MUCH fun to create!!
