Elisabeth's Mini Surprise

A Small Copper finished cake with 2 Wafer Paper Poppies and black foliage for my Mother In Law. She is visiting so it is a surprise just before her birthday. Inside is again Lemon with Poppy seeds filled with lemon curd, creme fraiche and blueberries. I particularly love the effect at bottom of cake which wasn’t intentional! it is the reflection of the gold cake board on the copper finish of the cake!!!

Thanks Danijela!! My mother in law kept it for a whole week! Lol she got it in advance and she didnt want to cut it until her bday! Thanks God for the UK Weather! It can be a natural fridge even in the summer!
