The Leaning Tower of Pisa

The Leaning Tower of Pisa

3 days. No sleep. What else can I say…hahahaha : )

For this cake I recorded and watched the Cake Boss about a zillion times for the under structure and to obtain the lean and still have a stable cake. This was about five years ago so I’d be scratching my head – but eventually I’d figure it out – today. Bottom is 8", center cakes are 6" single layers and the top of the tower is 5". Cake plates covered in fondant separate the single 6" layers. All of the columns are gumpaste used in an extruder with the hexagon shape. This was a lot of work but I’m happy with the end result. TFL!!! xo
