I am thrilled to finally share with you my finale of 2014. There were a couple of late nights with this one. The sparkly and shiny wafer paper poppies with crystal centers as well as the fringed middle tier are techniques I learned from Kara, of Kara’s Couture Cakes in her Cake Made class, Wafer Paper Cake Designs.
The silver reindeer was fashioned after a Christmas ornament, is made from a mix of fondant, modeling chocolate and a bit of gum paste. Silver leaf snowflakes and dragee snow finish off the bottom tier.
