I was watching a video clip of Her Majesty from 1951 via a link shared by Kerry Vincent when I suddenly had the “I must do a little cake for her Diamond Jubilee” feeling. I had no specific design in mind, this cake was born purely out of whim and from digging through my stacks of handmade silicone molds. I wanted to create something that I can put on a fine china and serve it to Her Majesty.
