Red and black was the theme. Once I saw these cute little birds on a Faye Cahill cake I knew I had to do my own little version of them and the rest of the cake design fell into place after that. Funny how that happens. A Wilton mold was used to do the cherry blossoms on the top half…never really crazy about Wilton designs, but these new molds are great.
