First Communion cake. Xtra deep 6 inch tier on top of an 8 inch tier. I stayed up pretty late a couple of nights in a row to make this one and I was having trouble with my fondant. I had to recover both tiers twice before I was happy with it! Flowers include a peony, hydrangea, gerbera daisies and bachelor buttons which were actually my first attempt at my gerb centres, but I didn’t like them so I started new, but when I looked at them on their own they reminded me of the flowers my Mom grew in the garden when I was a kid called bachelor buttons. TFL.

Gorgeous cake! The cross is beautiful too. Is that stenciling on the cross? I saw this too on pinterest and had to pin it I think through Ann-Marie too…lol!:-)
