I made this cake for a Doctor at the hospital where I work. He is semi retired and often talks about fishing.
It is fruit cake (he swears a piece of fruit cake a day is good for you!) with almond and fondant. the figures are fondant/tylose
I had an idea in my mind of what I wanted to do & it sort of worked – but I think most of us are never happy and see things which could have been done better.
