Now here is a Lambeth style in buttercream. While it makes a nice cake buttercream piping is never as clean and crisp as royal icing. But this was for a 90 years old woman and I wasn’t sure she could bite into royal. And without the beveled base it kind of lacks something. I am not trying to be hard on myself, just honest about the difference in the two types of icing. The Violets are gumpaste as well as the leaves.
