Ben's smash cake

A little smash cake for my Great Great nephews first birthday. Still working on the actual birthday cake and it is three in the morning. Finally had to stop and take a break. The birthday invitation is a bug theme so followed that for the cakes. Because he is only one I wanted the fondant to be as thin as possible so he could chew it but I went a bit overboard and it is so thin it spilt in a few places.

Thanks everyone. I wish you could have seen Ben eat this cake. He would peel off a piece of fondant and stick them in his mouth. Then smile and grab a hanful of cake. Lucky they brought a change of clothes for him because he had cake and buttercream in his hair and between his toes.
