My niece turned 16, the day after I came back from my 6 weeks off in the mountain and I really could not do something elaborate (although I promised I will make her a cake when she does her party :-) This is the cake I made, a small double barrel chocolate cake, covered with vanilla almond buttercream finish, decorated with a gold edible lace flower made using Sweetlin’s recipe. I tend to like this style a lot, simple and elegant! Hope you like it !!
