I love my science friends who order cakes/cupcakes from me! This time they wanted more fruit flies. Gumpaste young and adult fruit fly plaques on top of blueberry buttercream on top of yellow butter cake cupcakes. I molded everything in white and airbrushed for color. It’s funny, I can model a fruit fly without a problem but ask me to model an orange and all is lost ;-).

Thank you ‘Bliss’!! You are too kind and too funny!! And I agree, this would be the only way I’d eat a fruit fly too!! I had to laugh because I cannot mold an orange but give me a fruit fly and I have got it covered! Guess it’s because I dissected 1000s of them at one time in my life ;-)!
