My friend wanted a cocktail glass as a 30th birthday cake for her daughter – NOT a cocktail glass on a cake! After a couple of disastrous moments, this is how it turned out. My first attempt at airbrushing too.
The cake inside was orange flavoured and coloured in gradients to replicate the tequila sunrise. I made an orange and grenadine sugar syrup and butter icing to complete it – delicious :-)
