Sunny Skies

An 8”, 3 layer chocolate cake with buttercream frosting all covered in fondant. The sun and the clouds are made from Rice Krispy Treats covered in fondant then hand painted to add some dimension. The horse, sheep and birthday cake are hand sculpted from fondant (no CMC added). This cake looks nothing like I was expecting it too but sometimes that’s a good thing.

Design inspired by The Little Cherry Cake Company. Those rolling hills saved the day (or at least allowed me to go to bed at a somewhat reasonable time)! LOL
