1st Birthday Cake

This is the sort of cake I love to make. It was made for my cousin’s daughter’s birthday and she told me to just do what I wanted to do. The bottom tier is a chocolate fudge cake with mocha buttercream and the top tier is a victoria sponge. Both tiers are covered with fondant and the base was decorated to match the top tier. East of India ribbons and sugarpaste toys, balloons and rocking horse finish the whole thing off nicely.
