I am such a fan of the incredibly talented Ray Villafane. I find his work outstanding. I have not seen one piece of his I have not loved.
I finally had the chance to make a huge cake that could be anything I wanted and I decided to make my own version of one of his stunning carved pumpkins but in cake.
It was a huge cake weighing about 17kg and about 70cm high. The tree stump is a dummy.
