Polar Bear and friends Christmas cake

This was the first Christmas cake I was ever comissioned to make. It was a large carrot cake for a man who wasn’t keen on heavy fruit cakes and had a tangy orange buttercream icing. All of the figures were simple sugarpaste creations and I have to thank Mitch Turner for the original inspiration, although I did make it my own through styling and other additions. I was immensely proud of this cake and still am.
