I was asked to recreate a Royal Bakery Classic. I told my customer that I would be happy to take the original as inspiration and to recreate with some minor changes. Not that it would enhance the original or make it better, as you can’t improve on the original masterpiece, but simply because I do not like to copy outright. I changed the skirt slightly so that it was raised at the front and draped around either side of the cake. I loved doing the Disney writing, it’s so simple with a paste gun. The customer was thrilled with the result. Even had the Royal Bakery thumbs up too on facebook.
