Rainbow Wedding Cake Silver Award Winner at Cake International

This cake took me an age to make, mixing and matching the colours. It is in honour of the first same sex couple to marry in the UK under the new laws which happens on 29th March at 12.01am! Best of all the BBC have asked me to recreate the cake for a documentary covering the wedding of John & Bernado in London and will be filming me making the cake next week….TERRIFYING!!!

Wow this is gorgeous! I would hate to be filmed I get the nervous shakes , wouldn’t be able to do it! But I’m sure you’ll come up looking every bit the professional cake artist that you are! Congrats and what a milestone event to be participating in! :-)

Love how you have incorporated the rainbow colours, to fit the same sex marriage theme. I wish Australian law would catch up, but it doesn’t look like it will happen anytime soon. Fantastic cake!
