Elephant over the African sunset

This is a cake that we have just completed for our daughters birthday, three weeks late but she has been very patient with us. Helps when they are 19, there are some advantages lol. The cake is an 8" triple layered vanilla and chocolate sponge done like a battenberg internally with chocolate and vanilla buttercream. The elephant is 10" high, hand made from rkt, chocolate and fondant, Air brushed to finish. The cake was air brushed and the scenery was hand painted. she was one happy baby! Comment was “finally” lol. She loved it :-)

Thank you all for your lovely comments. We enjoyed doing this one. Its not that often that you get to see the reaction of the recipient of a cake as im sure you all know. When a member of your family see’s every thing that you do and are still wowed by there own cake, that is special. Thank you all once again, it means alot to us x
