I made this cake for a very sweet lady who was turning 60 years-young. She loves garndening, and is an expert in growing beautiful flowers. She also loves birds and his son and daughter in law wanted to surprise her with a birds and flowers theme cake. This is a chocolate cake, frosted with chocolate buttercream and covered in marshmallow fondant. The birds are modeled with fondant, the branches are made with royal icing and the flowers are made with gum paste.
