Winterland Birthday

The colors were periwinkle, silver and white. The birthday girl choose the design she wanted from previous cakes I’d done. I wanted to do the silver leaf which I added and began falling apart (cracking) when I got to the party :-(…lessons learned

It looks so lovely! I have never done silver leaf before, but I think yours turned out really nice! Love the sheen on the bow as well!

Thank you so much Toni! You know, I’ve been adding silver/gold leaf on fondant now playing around with it (this one was applied to buttercream) and it’s not as fussy (maybe a little lol) as I thought it may be. I’m sure if you decide to try it, whatever you do will be phenomenal!
