I'm a stay at home mum with 2 boys, 6 & 2. I've been caking for 18mnths and loving it! My business name was born from my 5yr old Super Hero birthday party. When we were tossing around business names he said 'Supermum Cakes' and it stuck, lol!

I love decorating and prefer to do 3D fondant work. I least like baking (and the clean up) but I bake from scratch and am constantly finding new recipes to replace my old as i navigate my way around the cake baking world. 18mnths ago I would of got a packet mix from the supermarket so i have really come along way in the kitchen as all my cakes are delicious! I love the science of baking and decorating! In today's cake decorating world I'm really glad that i ditched home economics at school and went for wood work as there are days where my work bench more resembles as work shed then a cake studio/kitchen, lol!
