Hello, I am a disabled hobby baker who has been baking since I was very young. I entered a baking contest through our recreation department at about 12 years old, and came in first place! I was hooked! My family has been the patient taste testers and have helped me become the baker I am today. Approximately 20 years ago I had a small business, making cakes for people who either knew me or who had heard of me through people I knew. It ended because of a car accident that damaged my dominant arm. I took a few years, but I slowly started decorating again. Lately I've tried using fondant & gumpaste. It's slow going, but interesting. The ability to learn so much on the internet is amazing! I hope to learn a lot from all you wonderful decorators out there.
