Started Cake decorating in 2011. And as a trial for my sons 2nd birthday cake I made a cake for my cousins 18th, white choc mudcake with white choc ganache, nothing like diving in the deep end! Made everything from scratch and with a simple design in mind I started. The design evolved as I was going along.
The end result wasnt too disasterous but it did ignite my passion for cake. Since then I have made 80 cakes in 18 months, for family and freinds and my passion has not died. I have become more and more brave have even done some 3D cakes and some figurines, Not perfect but I was very proud. I continue to grow and develope my skills, not without its challenges but loving it just the same
