Louise Land set up Cirencester Cupcakes, two years ago, after being made redundant, turning her lifelong passion for baking into a successful company, and has been tantalising customers with hand-crafted, beautiful cupcakes, baked fresh every day from her bakery in Swan Yard, Cirencester.
Specialising in bespoke cakes, Louise works with her clients to create individual cupcakes, to ensure that they are ‘just perfect’ for any occasion. The cupcakes make the perfect gift or your perfect day, that little more extra-special, whether it’s a wedding, birthday, christening or a corporate event. And for those treat moments, there’s always a fresh batch of cupcakes in the bakery.
Passionate about supporting local businesses, Louise sources her ingredients from local producers, as well as Fairtrade products wherever possible. Louise uses only the finest natural ingredients; there are no additives, preservatives or anything that comes from a can! Fruit means real, proper fruit, sourced locally from her garden, farms and farmer’s markets. Cirencester Cupcakes are always made using local milk and fresh free-range eggs, Netherend Dairy butter and Shipton Mill flour. All cakes are made to order, ensuring that they are perfect!
Since starting Cirencester Cupcakes, Louise has been featured in business start up books, created a bespoke wedding cake for the Royal Wedding edition of Cotswold Life cupcakes for iTVs Lorraine and This Morning programmes, and photoshoots for OK magazine. Louise was as a finalist in the prestigious Cotswold Life Food and Drink Awards 2010, in the category Food Product of the Year, and in 2011 was awarded Cotswold Life Food and Drink Independent Retailer of the Year.
