I set up Caroline's Cakes in 2010 and managed to juggle it with my office job, studying full time for a second degree, a husband and 2 small children. In 2011 I was busy enough to quit the day job and concentrate on cakes full time. Working from home means that I can be there for my children and make the Christmas play and the Harvest Festival without any problems.

I'm learning every day and I've come a long way already. When I see my first cakes now I cringe! I feel so lucky that I can do this all day and get paid for it :-) :-)

I make celebration cakes, wedding cakes, cupcakes, mini cakes, iced biscuits, cake pops and macarons.
