I have been baking since 1972. I did a lot of wedding cakes until 1990's when my banking career took off and I hung up my apron. I would do 1 wedding cake a year. But in 2013 I was laid off after 25 yrs and unable to find another job. I got the cake bug again and have been learning all of the fantastic new methods, recipes and mediums to use. I love wafer paper!!!
I have only done 1 wedding cake in 5 months and most of my cakes are birthday, retirement, special occasions etc.
I love this site and hopefully will be able to post something in the future.
