re: How Did YOU Get Started?

New here! It’s great to be a part of “yawl”! I’ve always done my children’s cake-buttercream, very simply of course. The last few years I decided to try fondant. Started getting orders….I loved it! I’ve always liked to be “artsy”! Sooooo, after much prayer and thought, we purchased a 14 × 24 foot metal building and put it in our back yard. My hubby finished the inside. I painted the ceiling pink and the walls mint. I love it. Staying pretty busy and looking forward to retirement in 4 1/2 years when I feel like I can be “full steam ahead”! Only problem: small town and a lot of people just can’t appreciate the time invested in a cake sometimes, so therefore more comprising on prices.
