Someone had suggested using the little plastic “vases”/tubes with the rubbery plastic ends that florists use to put water in and put on the end of roses. I haven’t tried this though…have you? I had a cake with wires that kept wanting to poke through the cake on the back. I was so frustrated. I made the hearts on top light (I thought) but still had trouble.! I think maybe they were too tall?
