@Diana – The way to make hard fondant pliable again is to put it in the microwave for just a 8-10 seconds at a time. Fondant is sugar and sugar will burn so only put it in for a few seconds. Be careful it will be hot! Then knead it with some shortening on your hands and it should soften up. Hope this helps!
