Thanks Marlene :-) The cradle could be kept (for a while!) for a teddy bear to ‘sleep’ in. The edging design is not very visible in the photo, but it runs all the way around the board and is in graduated shades. In fact, the whole cake was made using only one colour in varying shades, with royal icing to match.
